Lighthouse on the south western tip of Phuket, Cape Promthep.

First people come and pray at the shrine, and then after being successful, they come back to leave an elephant offering. The larger elephants were for larger successes, probably from business people.

Right below the island (where the trees are at the bottom of the photo) you can rent kayaks and kayak from here to Nai Harn Beach and/or around this little island (we don’t remember the name of it).
This is also a great and very popular place to watch the sunset! If you aren’t sure what time the sun rises or sets, they post that information right in front of the lighthouse to ensure you don’t miss either!
